CERT teams may brake down in the time of need or not show up. If there employer(s) our not willing to release they from there job! If there was to be a emergency or a disaster. There should be a law put into effect to for employers to release them during a time of need! They our no different then a volunteer fire department or our national guards protecting us over sea’s. They should be protect for training and for responding. A lot of money is spent on recruitment and training to have this added system in place. In our last disaster out of the hundreds we have trained only a hand full responded the first day in tell it whittled down to 2 for over 3 weeks for the after mass and clean-up. One to run a 10 phone bank by her self and 1 one the streets.  

We may need all the assistance available to us in a time of need!
