Maybe we should create villages for the homeless along the border and pay them to keep an eye out for illegal aliens. This would give them a free place to stay, centralized points for charities to deliver food to, a stipend to put money in their pockets, and less aggression from the police and public towards them.

It could be a win-win for all concerned parties. The homeless would get a place to stay, our borders would have more eyes watching it, and cities wouldn't have to deal with sheltering the homeless when the weather turned bad.
