A Nation that is resilient to all hazards and threats through an adaptive and risk-informed system that integrates capabilities and empowers all stakeholders.
Goals:
- As a nation, enhance the focus on risk and resiliency in disaster management.
- Improve the nationwide emergency management system to reflect the roles, responsibilities, authorities, capabilities, needs, and interdependencies of all stakeholders in order to enhance unity of effort.
- Engage and empower individuals to become partners in supporting their communities before, during and after disasters.
